1. Account Number - The account number is associated with a particular address or meter. Your account number can change if you move, or if we have to re-number our system. 2. Customer Number - The customer number is associated with a particular customer. Your customer number will always be the same no matter where you live. Your history stays with your customer number. 3. Bill Date - This is the day your bill is sent. 4. Date Due - This is the day your payment is due. 5. Date Read - This is the date your meter was read. 6. Days - This is the number of days in the current billing cycle. 7. Service From - This is the date your meter was read for the previous billing. 8. Service To - This is the date your meter was read for the current billing. 9. Previous - This is the previous reading for your meter. 10. Present - This is the current reading for your meter. 11. Usage - This is the amount used on your meter. Keep in mind that the meters are read in hundreds of gallons or cubic feet for gas. Example: If your usage is 25, you used 2.500 gallons of water or 2,500 cubic feet of gas. 12. Code - This is the type of service you are being billed for. Example: WAT is for water, GAS is for gas, SEW is for sewer, etc. 13. Amount - This is the amount charged for each service. 14. The first line in this area will show any balance forward or credit on your account if they exist. The following lines will show details for each service being billed. 15. This is the total amount due on your bill if paid on or before the due date. 16. This is the amount due after the due date. 18. Any comments will be shown here. 19. This area will contain your name and mailing address. 20. This area will contain your service address.
